Who we are

cairncase.com and the Cairn app are run by Shindar Tech (“we”). You can reach us at [email protected].

Agencies and their agreement

Agencies use Cairn under a written agreement with us. It covers the service, fees, support and how we handle the agency’s records. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins.

Using the app

If you sign in as staff, your agency gives you access. When you use Cairn, please:

• keep your password to yourself, and tell your administrator straight away if you think someone else has used your account;
• use Cairn only for your agency’s work, and open only the records your work needs;
• don’t try to get around access controls, test our security without our written permission, overload the service, or copy it.

If an account puts other people or their information at risk, we may suspend it and will tell the agency.

This website

The site describes Cairn as it is today. We work to keep it accurate, but features change and the site is provided as it is. The people and records in our screenshots are made up.

Our name and content

The Cairn name and logo, this site, its illustrations and the app belong to Shindar Tech. Please don’t reuse them, or use them in a way that suggests we endorse you, without asking us first.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using this website. Responsibility for the app is set out in each agency’s agreement.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

When we update these terms, we change the date at the top. If you keep using Cairn after that, the new terms apply.
